Today was Valentine's Day.
Well technically, since I am writing this at 1:38am on February 15th. Valentine's was yesterday.
However, I just got home from my little V-Day outting were we went out to eat some delicious japenese food and catch the 10:20pm Valentine's Day Movie showing.
I didn't really have any expectations for the movie.
I just wanted to see it for various reasons.
The only one you need to know about is summed up in two words.
Taylor. Lautner.
*Team Jacob. FTW.*
So, when we sat down to watch this movie I didn't have any hopes. I just knew there were a lot of actors/actress' I liked, acting in it.
I wasn't however expecting it to be funny.
Light-hearted, dramatic, tear jerker, and angsty... yes.
Funny, maybe a little.
I left the building very surprised. I really enjoyed it. The creators spun a web of stories that all connected together nicely. It made me laugh (really loud), it made me cry, it broke my heart a little, and of course, made me say "aw".
The majority of my favorite parts would be the scenes with Queen Latifah and Anne Hathaway in them.
I don't want to spoil their parts because the "shock" factor has a lot to do with its hilarity.
Ashton Kutcher was in this movie the most (his character links a lot of characters together). His relationship with Jennifer Garner's character is really sweet and loving. There were a lot of *sigh*/*aw* moments between these two.
Although Julia Roberts was not in this movie that much, I have to say her characters story is really cute and not what it seems. I loved her character and how she got to her ending. ADORABLE!
Anywho, I will leave you with this.
I am not going to give this movie a rating, like I do with books.
However I will tell you that it is very good. It has a great mixture of all the ingredients that make an excellent date movie. Grab your gal pals or your man and head over to check this movie out.
Very much worth it.
Until next time,
